Our Mission
We hope to be able to serve the Central Valley community by providing access to performances of Latinx and Iberian music.
Our main goal is to highlight the many incredible genres from Latin America and the Iberian peninsula that are often not performed or promotes outside of their respective countries. We aim to include such genres as zarzuela, art song, folk, mariachi, son, opera and other popular musical forms.
We hope in the future to be able to extend our community outreach by adding a scholarship for Latinx students looking to pursue a degree in music, as well as holding lectures on the interpretation and cultural significance of these genres.
